About Bayside Band

Bayside Band was incorporated in 2005 by the Nigerian Corporate Affairs Commission. In that same year the band registered as one of the five Carnival Bands in the Carnival Calabar. Since its registration, the Bayside Band has effectively participated in all the subsequent carnivals; winning the second prize back to back in 2005 and 2006, while emerging as the overall winner of the best band on the road march in 2007. 
The Bayside Band is identified by its distinctive aqua-marine colour (Blue). The Bayside Band team is made up of the following: His Excellency Mr. Donald Duke, former Governor of Cross River State, (Band Leader), Mr. John Odey – Hon. Minister for Environment  (deputy band leader), Senator Victor Ndoma Egba (Stake holder) and Arch. Tonye Braide (Band Director)
